CHOOSING LOVE

This week's affirmation reads - I have a divine right to give and receive love. I know that I wasn't created to be abused or misused in my relationships. For I am worthy of healthy nurturing connections that support my sense of well-being in the world. I know that love does.

With all the dauntings of war and terror, and the dystrophy faced within the confines of Domestic Violence and Violent relationships, we frequently neglect acts of kindness, the camaraderie of human relations, and most of all, the strength and healing involved in acts of love. For Love truly does!

And whether we realize it or we don't, there is an array of goodness to be had in this world, that comes without the attached attributes of dysfunctionality from people and circumstances with aim to drag us down psycho-socially, emotionally, physiologically and even spiritually.

May you always receive the gift of understanding, and of compassion - and of an unwavering acceptance of who you are in the world, so as to let the light of not only your hostilities, and frustrations and your anger guide you as you continue on your journey of healing, but the unbridled volume of your human connection and positivity of love, as you engage and heal those broken and fragile vestiges of your trauma and of your pain.
