As such, OasisAgainstViolence has compiled a list of motion pictures, designed to educate our survivor community on the disturbing nature of Social and Domestic Violence.
May they unveil the plight of all who suffer, many in silence, so as to continue to raise awareness of such a destructive phenomena happening all over the world.
And best of all, may they serve to teach our women and girls that THERE IS NO WAR IN LOVE.

While engaging in the process of meeting folks and entering into new relationships can prove rewarding and mutually beneficial, in not knowing the past of violent people or the red flags of volatile relationships, a perfect guy, can prove deadly.

Some abusers will stop at nothing to destroy the lives of those they seek to get and keep power and dominion over.
FATAL ATTRACTION - 1987
Fatal Attraction gives credence to the ways abusers seek out and target their victims while also infiltrating and consuming, triangulating and deceiving, to destroy the lives of the victims, as well as their family and friends, and all they hold dear, in an effort to push them deeper into submission within the destructive vestiges of violence.

Sexual exploitation and Sex Trafficking has always been connected to Social and Domestic Violence, and for so many victims trapped within such harmful groups, the effects of this type of financial exploitation and financial slavery can prove devastating.
GASLIGHT - 1944
When those within our intimate relationships seek to harm us, they are apt to employ the tools of gas lighting - the intentional and destructive means of altering the victim's perception of themselves and their self-identifying attributes, the perceptions of the abuser themselves and what their actual aim is within the relationship, and likewise, the "world" around the victim, so as to reframe and exploit, extort and destroy, in aim of carrying out their nefarious and malevolent aim within the relationship.
